A Family of Different Watches

Friday, February 26th, 2010

Everyone has their own taste in style. Your choice of wear will probably look substantially different from your father’s attire. This can be applicable to watches as well; my father prefers Fossil, my older brother has been wearing his Casio G-Shock for years, and my little brother likes his Seiko watch. I’m a Swiss Army man myself. Whenever we needed new manufacturer watch batteries or replacement parts, we’d have to go through multiple stores at the local shopping outlet.

Luckily, there’s a business in Los Angeles that offers Fossil watch battery replacement, Casio watch batteries, Seiko watch batteries, and Swiss Army watch battery replacement. Watch Battery Pros has been around since 1979, so naturally, they have a lot of experiencing in servicing different watch brands backing them up. And even though my parents no longer live in Southern California, neither does my older brother for that matter, they can still purchase their watch batteries through Watch Battery Pros by sending their watches with a free shipping box courtesy of the company.

Don’t go through multiple stores when you can get all of your watch battery needs taken care of through one store.

Check the Time at Nighttime

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

It’s not so revolutionary now, but many watch wearers have forgotten the import of owning a watch that provides some kind of illumination in the dark. Casio came out with their first “Illuminator” watch in 1995 and it became immensely popular due to its novelty and application. Some people may have issues with purchasing a watch with light capabilities because they assume that the additional feature will drain the battery quicker. Well, to lay these apprehensions to rest, Watch Battery Pros offers Casio watch battery replacement as well as Timex watch battery replacement, the latter of which is another company that issued its own line of light producing watches in the early 90’s.

From a practical standpoint, nighttime is usually reserved for resting, to unwind after a long hectic day. But nightlife has grown even more popular in this modern age where bars and clubs are open as late as three in the morning. There are specific days out of the normal work week allotted to different promotional events at these venues, and the weekends are no longer the only days people reserve to go out. Having a watch that can show you the time despite the lack of lighting would prove extremely handy on your night out.

Keeping Memories Safe

Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010

It’s not as uncommon as you think, attaching memories of a loved one to a given object like a wrist watch or a piece of jewelry. It’s human nature to take people for granted, but these physical reminders help us to recollect once in awhile in our busy lives, that we live, laugh, and love. But everything requires upkeep, particularly our more valuable possessions such as a watch handed down from a grandfather. You may be wearing it right now, checking the time on your wrist, and instantly capturing that moment in time when he handed that wrist watch to you. If you haven’t had your keepsake’s manufacturer watch battery replaced, you should look into it. If you’re concerned that there isn’t anywhere you can go that will service your watch brand, don’t fret. Watch Battery Pros has been in the business of manufacturer watch battery replacement since 1979. They’ve serviced over hundreds of different watch brands.

It’s important to keep our memories alive, and if it means cleaning out and restoring an old heirloom or keepsake, all the easier.

Survey – Seiko VS Fossil (which is better)

Wednesday, January 20th, 2010

In one corner, we have the champion Seiko. Watches sold under the brand Seiko have been around since the early 20th century. Seiko was the first company to introduce quartz watch, and among its other notable achievements, has also served as an official time keeper for many major sports events such as the World Cup and the Olympic Games. You may have seen Seiko make a cameo appearance in some of the films from the James Bond franchise.

In the other corner, we have the contender Fossil. Fossil hasn’t been around as long as its opponent Seiko, but in its young career, Fossil has quickly become the household name for quality watches. DKNY, Marc Jacobs, and Diesel are a few names attached to Fossil, and their presence has grown exponentially within the consumer fashion industry.

So dear readers, which do fighter do you think should take home the trophy? Seiko, the traditional giant of the Orient, or Fossil, the young star from the Lone Star State? There is no right or wrong answer to this, tell us your opinions! Go visit http://www.watchbatterypros.com now!

Are Unisex Watches For You?

Monday, January 4th, 2010

There was a time when watches were very distinctly either men’s or women’s watches. Men’s watches tended to have larger faces with bolder numbers, beefier minute and second hands, and larger wristbands. Women’s watches tended to have smaller faces with more delicate numbers, smaller minute and second hands, with thinner wristbands. It was relatively easy to determine which sex and given watch was intended for.

But these days, many manufacturers are making watches that can be worn by either men or women, similar to the relatively new perfumes that can be worn by either sex. These watches are more subtle in their design, and often look attractive simply from several different perspectives, male and female.

You might find yourself drawn to a watch that doesn’t feature very distinguishing “male” or “female” characteristics. Some people find these unisex watches to be very versatile, as these watches blend into different wardrobes and looks better than other types of gender-specific watches. Is your personal style more fashion-forward and less traditional? Then you might find that a unisex watch moves with your look much better than a more gender-specific watch.

Of course, you should choose a watch that you like the best. But don’t be afraid to look at watches that look good on both men and women’s arms!

Also, maybe you might want to find a unisex watch band instead.
